A group of six 20-something-year-old friends gather in a mountain cabin to enjoy a well-deserved vacation.  It’s just they can’t seem to enjoy anything, really. What is supposed to be a fun and carefree evening evolves into a drunken circus of attempted infidelity, nonsense, and weird religion. This all takes place under the watchful gaze of a young girl who only shows herself to one person, while he steadily and hilariously loses his grip on reality in the company of his oblivious friends.   The nature of shame, sexuality, loyalty, intoxication, privilege and faith are all explored in this achingly funny new play.

”Hilarious and Haunting … a stellar cast, under the capable guidance of director Kelsey Claire, shines and gives tangible groundedness to Ford’s characters.” The Review Hub

Breaking Up by Michael Cristofer

A two-hander living room drama that was performed in an actual NYC apartment. The audience sat along the wall in the living areas, and practical lighting was used to create separate apartment spaces for the couple.

Breaking up is hard, especially when two people are meant for each other. In a series of scenes, some comic and others sad, Steve and Alice try to separate but each new scene finds the young couple back together. Increasingly desperate measures are employed, including a wild attempt at marriage as the ultimate solution for a failing relationship. Finally, they do part, marry others, have children and build separate lives. And then, one night they meet again.
